Volume Control with 6 speakers:/

Hi there! So I just recently had a house built and I had them add 8 speaker drops for in ceiling speakers and 2 volume control knob ports (1 for kitchen/family room and 1 for the patio). Little did I know I can only add a pair to one knob. So my idea is run the patio direct to the receiver, and then run the other 6 speakers to a switch then back to a volume control knob then to the receiver. Anyone got any ideas? These weren’t run the way I wanted but I don’t want these fools wrecking my drywall to rewire.

So black circle= speaker location
red filled circle=routed to location
the red X is where I want the volume knob in the wiring if it’ll work
70 volt transformers what oldhvymec said.
As noted ceiling speakers don't sound too good unless you're laying down. Even then forget about an image.
If your speakers are high impedance and/or you wire them in series, you can put quite a few loudspeakers on a single amp until you run out of power.
They are simply for music not a home theater. I’m just trying to figure out if I can run from the switch back to the volume knob then to receiver or if I’ll run into problems
You need to go with a pro type of setup.  Yes, you can use transformer based speakers but you can also do something like the Parasound ZoneMaster line, among other solutions.
