I had those hooked up to single driver speakers (Jordan JX 92S) in a bedroom system. I thought they were big bang for the buck. Comparible to Synergistic Resolution Reference, a little warmer tonal balance. I think you would have to spend a lot more (aprox. $900 6' used)to get something appreciably better.
