what cable should I buy for my system?

Rotel Michi m8 monoblocks

With a simple high-quality copper cable, the sound is currently neutral, forward, with an unfavorable wind, but mainly with depth and short decays. It’s dynamic, fast, tight, but it lacks sophistication, especially the ideal space mapping and the long, delicate decay of the sounds. I would think about used cables.. Budgeting is obviously important, but I haven’t done it yet, first of all I would be interested in your opinions on which cable brings what and in what price-value ratio.

What cable are you looking to replace, speaker, interconnects or power?

I'm in the preamp camp. Your preamp is heading very close to vintage. It is the most important part of your system.

I think it's preamplifier, power cable, Interconnect cable. A combination of these could tune the system to a large extent in a sufficient manner.

Do a blind test on these two!

Detect difference and the former is better -> Siltech Master Crown ($150k)

Detect difference and the latter is better -> World Best ($150)

Can Not Detect difference -> World Best

…….getting really old Jasonbourne71 and lanc0003 . Put together a system that is good enough to hear the difference until then …. getting really old !
