"The Great Fantasy Adventure Album", themes from ElCid, Hook, Jurassic Park, Robin Hood, Henry V, Willow, The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad, The Abyss, Clash of the Titians, The Rocketeer, Beetlejuice, Total Recall, Wizards and Warriors, Conan the Barbarian and The Hunt for Red October all performed by the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra -w- Erich Kunzel - very good Orchestra IMO. It plays on both stereo and surround sound systems and is marked "Spatializer". 1994 Telarc.

Mozart Requiem Harnoncourt..... concentus Musicus Wien

The Burns Sisters..."Who?" Three sisters from Ithaca who sing tight harmony with the Roches' (remember them?) beauty and precision, but with the swing of Emily Lou Harris, the drive of Bonny Raitt, and the intelligence of Janis Ian (who raves about them). Heard them live on WGBH (Boston NPR) yesterday, and caught their remarkable gig that night, and now reveling in 2 of their 4 CDs. Check 'em out. (Philo Rec)

Looking back I have noticed that you mention the Burns Sisters in several posts. They were far and away my favorite band in Ithaca in the early 80's.  I'd always go hear them at the Salty Dog down by the lake.  I had a crush on Annie, LOL.  I was also a big fan of the Roches at about the same time.  Brings back great memories!
