Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO

Joel, that DMM Vinyl “Moving Pictures” goes for big bucks online. Word is that MP is not going to get the Anniversary treatment like all their other albums beginning with 2112. I hope this word is wrong and we do get something for Christmas this year, but like you, at least for now, I prefer my original which sounds pretty good.
By the way, I think 2112 is the best sounding Rush album. The Digital “Test for Echo” is different but also sounds very good to me, especially the guitars. YMMV of course.
Sometimes I think Rush albums were mastered to sound best on a cassette deck in a 1968 GTO with primer paint on the quarter panels and a Kiss bumper sticker on the back.
Steve - Eat a Peach going back soon :-( should be easy as LRS sourced….

nice review of Tim’s work with Noteworthy cables - when my reference system settles down I have some needs.
