@nicks25 Congrats on the cartridge and enjoy it in good health. I see that you have an Accuphase amp. My biggest system, back in the late '70s and into the late '80s was a stack of Accuphase. I had a T-100 tuner, a C-200 preamp, and two of the P-300 power amps. Bi-amped with active crossover into Infinity RS-2.5 speakers. That system was awesome. I dig your system! I agree, the new issue of David Crosby album is quite good. I really enjoy it. Al Green "Call Me" Speakers Corner issue, pressed at Pallas, all analogue production. Sounds great, as great as the music is. Joan Armatrading "S/T" Just arrived today from a Discogs purchase, NM/M- condition. I love Joan and this is a great addition to my collection of her albums. |
Stay Awake / Various Interpretations of Music from Various Disney Films (A&M 1988) A great collection of Artist & produced by Hal Willner. It’s where I discovered Bill Frisell. Tom Waits singing “Heigh Ho” is memorable. As is Los Lobos, Bonnie Raitt, Yma Sumac, Nilsson, Ringo w/ Herb Alpert (again with Bill Frisell). The whole damn album, actually. I approve! “…three inches is such a wretched height…” carry on |
@nicks25 Indeedy. My main table has 2 Deccas from the 80s. Like you, I've never bought any major cartridges. Always been a MM tube phono man. |
