For me its the first or very early LP's of: Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South" Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer" and, Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
What Mingus album would any of you suggest for a beginner?
The BG-mastered are probably the best sounding, but pricey. A million pressings of this. I would say it’s a top20 all-time jazz classic: You probably know "Goodbye Pork Pie Hat" from Jeff Beck"...this is the OG.
