What Mingus album would any of you suggest for a beginner?

The BG-mastered are probably the best sounding, but pricey. A million pressings of this. I would say it’s a top20 all-time jazz classic:  You probably know "Goodbye Pork Pie Hat" from Jeff Beck"...this is the OG.
