Great choices. I have an Ultradeck and really like it. The better-quality vinyl sound great with it.

Just bought a Mofi Ultradeck!  To christen it played some LP's that I just splurged on:

1 - Desperado - Eagles, 45 RPM Mofi ULtradisk 1-step

2 - Nashville Skyline - Bob Dylan, 45 RPM Mofi 

3 - Stardust - Willie Nelson, Mofi

4 - Santana III - Santana, Mofi

I followed those 4 with two of my other special disks:

5 - Times Gettin' Tougher Than Tough - Charlie Musselwhite,

      Crystal Clear Records

6 - Abraxas -Santana, Mofi

I think that was a was a fitting way to break in a new piece of gear.

Vinyl is the order of the day. Using my new to me Shure V15 Type 4 with a new Jico SAS stylus with the Boron Canteliver.  Loving the sound, so full bodied, bass is thunderous, treble is very delicate. My cost was under $400.00 for used cartridge and new stylus. Best purchase I made in years.  Mates well with the Technics SL1200G turntable
