Where's the next weak link in my analog chain?

@mswale I’m very jealous, but that would certainly make the cost of retipping a significant factor.

I finally did some upgrades to my headphone system at my desk for WFH days. Too much zoom to sit at the stereo all though unfortunately. 

…Cost $500 to replace the needle. That really hurt!…

If your phono stage can handle it, maybe get a Soundsmith cartridge because the needle replacement is much more affordable 

Soundsmith also sounds great the few times I've heard them. 

@kennyc thanks, didn't know anything about them. Sadly they do not have a dealer in WA state. Looks like a good cart for the money. Like the idea of much cheaper needle replacements.

That's an interesting choice of power cord on your tt. Did you just have it on hand or was there some experiments with power cords in that particular use?
