Yep, Mapman, I am grateful that music is just as much fun as when I was a teenager, and better equipment makes it more so. (By the way, I also have a pair of Ohm Walsh 2s used for TV duty that I bought new 25 years ago still going strong. I thing the Ohms will long outlive me.)

Curious what is your main system and speakers for audio?

Original Walsh 2s cannot compare to many newer designs in regards to overall refinement but the newer upgrades available for them can. I have heard the two side by side in my system for comparison, so I am quite certain about that.

Main system is EMM SE separates, Edge NL12.1, Harbeth SHL5s,
Stealth/Shunyata Cables.

I love the stories I hear occasionally about those who lose one sense and gain sensitivity in others to compensate.
