Spanish Guitar

My wife loves Spanish Guitar, but we know little about musicians in this genre. I'd like to add some of this music to our collection and learn more about the music itself. Does anyone have recommendations for good quality Spanish Guitar recordings and/or artists?

good call by Quadophile . . . "Friday night in San Francisco" by Delucia, Dimeola and McLaughlin has been mentioned in other Guitar threads here. I finally picked up a copy. It won't disappoint. The first cut will blew me away in the first minute, and it's an 11 minute track.
Johnrob,

In case you have not, please do check the link for some fantastic selection of music to choose from:

Most achingly beautiful music
I just ordered Friday Night in San Fran (which I was pleased to find is an SACD!) should be here next week!!!!, and the live version of Concerto...
Kennyt,

You won't be disappointed, that's for sure. When you get it do come back on this thread and let us know your thoughts on both albums.

Happy Listening!
I just came across something (although these guys have been around for a while) with a fresh take on some Spanish and Latin stylings; LAGQ - LLos Angeles Guitar Quartet): "Latin", on Telarc. Some very nifty arrangements of standards like Sevillas, Concerto de Aranjuez, and Bizet's Carmen suites, and a few out-of-the-way gems as well.
