Power Conditioner for your amplifier?

Lately, I've been toying with the idea of trying a power conditioner on my amplifier (ARC VT-100 MkII). I know there has been much written about going straight into the wall with your amp (which is what I am doing currently), but has anyone had any luck with plugging your amplifier into a conditioner? Specifically, I've been thinking of a non-limiting device, such as a PS Audio Ultimate Outlet or a UPC-200.
Has anyone had success using a power conditioner on your amplifier - yes / no? Any thoughts and suggestions will be greatly appreciated. In advance, thanks, and happy listening!

Using Audience 6 TSSD 20 Amp for my Pass 350.8 350ch sounds much better than in the wall.Depends on the quality of your unit and your power.Using a second Audience 6 TSSD for TT,preamp and CD player.
Lloydlee and Ebm,
What power cords do you use on your Line Conditioners ?
In general what power cords do use through out your systems.
Many thanks

Hi Goldeneraguy,

the Burmester 948 has a fixed power cable...one of their earlier models. Otherwise, i have found i like Purist Audio Cables, namely their older Dominus cables, as well as their more recent Canorus and 25th Anniversary. I also have had good experiences with Mark Coles' Sablon Audio Power Cables and still use 2 (Oppo 95 and Velodyne).

The PADs i suppose you could say have a sound...certainly switching out with Mark's cables showed me changes. I like them a lot. I have spoken with 2 people whose systems i admire a lot who also liked PAD and only recently went to Echole Cables (their 2 highest levels...cannot remember their name). Hope that helps. Good luck!
Audience 6 TSSD has Audience AU24 SE high current cord Pass 350.8 using Stealth V12 cord for amps.
