Audio Physic Scorpio II room problems

One tip I'll mention to get the best from these speakers (I used to own Virgo II) is to place them on sistrum stands. I used the 004 type. The difference was profound. The stands helped drain away excess energy from the speaker, and what was already great imaging becaame even better, and bass became better integrated - the stnds should help with bass-nodes/room-issues. I now use sistrums on all my equipment, but the impact on speakers is the moust striking.

I went ahead and ordered the scorpio II's. After some measuring and thinking up alternative furniture placement, I'm convinced I can find a good placement for them.

I agree with Outlier re some kind of isolation for the speakers. I first tried using Aurios between the speaker spikes and a hard floor.
These sounded fantastic but having to use three sets was rather expensive.
I have achieved almost as good results with a pair of air bladder isolation platforms.
After listening to a pair of Cain & Cain Abbeys, I decided to mount the speakers and platforms on building blocks to raise the mid range units and tweeters to just above the height of my listening position.
Imo this has wrought a huge improvement by making singers sing from singer height if you get my drift.
A realistic height to the stage was the only problem that nagged me about the system.
Incidentally, mapping my room/speaker placement with CARA software gives me more or less indentical positioning as following AP's own guidance.
