Aerial Model 9 vs B&W Nautilus 802

Okay, help me out here ! I own Nautilus 802's and drive them with ML 436 monos...really good results ! BUT I am told by some that the Aerial 9 is even more dynamic and transparent. Anyone out there ever hear them side by side? I am biased towards PRAT and great bass response. Thanks in advance for your thoughts !

Has the 10T turned into a bit of an urban legend?

I read a post where Aerial themselves commented that the Model 9 is their best seller and they are very pleased with their performance and have no plans to make any changes to them. If the 10T was THAT good, wouldn't Aerial want to tweak the 9?
I had a B&W 802D. It was not very musical...thin and lumpy bass, grainy mids and highs. I changed nothing but went to Vandersteen...a revelation.
the 10t cost too much to build, so it was replaced by a more margin friendly 20.
I think the 10Ts weren't all that great to look at either. Notice how a lot of the high-speakers have gone to the faceted look, e.g., Andra's and others. I didn't ever care that much for the look of the 10Ts but they're growing on me. Of course the 20s have the more modern look.

The expensive part Jaybo refers to are the Novalith heads. Basically casted granite. They also have had some problems with the outer coat peeling off. Mine aren't showing any signs of that but I've seen quite a few that have. Not sure why some do and some don't though.
