AR SP9 MKlll

I have SP9 MKIII and the relay which opens/shorts the signal path is 'stuck' in shorted mode, thus no output to the amp.

If i physically remove the relay will it 'open' the signal path so it appears at the outputs?

Any other ideas that I could investigates as to why there is no output?

Sounds like it's time to send your SP-9 to ARC for a check-up. There may be other parts that are ready for replacement. The SP-9 was of mid 80s vintage I believe. It's time.

C24 is probably leaky and the relay timer circuit will not open the relay.
