Receiver with Audyssey

Looking for new low end receiver with room correction. Currently usig Denon 2106 with first gen. auto setup. To be used in my den with lousy room acoustics. Can't correct those so wonder if the audyssey setup is the way to go? Looking at Onkyo/Denon. Will be used for HT only with in wall speaker craft 5.1 speakers. Also interested in the HDMI capability for my hdmi cable box/ps3. Suggestions?

Onkyo/Denon are good brands to start with. What is your budget for this expense?
Going with lower end as I don't need a bunch of power. Mainly would like to try the audyssey setup, would prefer the better software. Have owned Meridian separates in the past in another setup and am not expecting that level. Probably looking around $500 used.
HIGHLY recommend the new Onkyo TS SR705. Truly as good as the reviews. Made my home theater better than the Outlaw/ Sony ES separates I was using.
