@ct0517 more interesting Mary Chapin facts and LPs/CDs to look up if you don't already have them

Firstly did you know that "Stones in the Road" was written for and first recorded by Joan Baez -- available on LP too on her "Play me Backwards" disc?

And here's a great version of them singing it together
 
Which is very reminiscent of the version form MCC's live CD "Party Doll" which I use as a test track for live sounding band play
 
Among Mary Chapin's other CD only releases my favorite is "Between Here and Gone" with "Goodnight America" an excellent test of a system's ability to cope with a well produced but busy mix and "Grand Central Station" just a deeply moving song ....

I think my favorite folk singer is probably Alison Krauss, but I also realize she's a favorite for many, so needs to be shared. :^(
My Canadian IP address keeps me from accessing the last three American urls in your last post. Ironically, I have the same problem sometimes trying to get Lp's of American artists I like, ordered on this side of the border. I wonder if your new president will make this situation worse or better for Canadian music lovers ?

Dear Chris, I assume that you are not interested in those titanium

screws but all other which are magnetic you can find in your

carpet with an magnet. If you don't own any you can use the

magnet of any of your drivers. As you probably know thuchan

promissed to me just one of those titanium screws but I need

to get the precious via Raul . Lucky me Dertonarm promissed to

me two pairs for free. So I am searching for this ''tension wrench''

and already bought a strong magnet in anticipation. To change the

carpet is much more expensive alas.

I feel my time remaining on this thread is short, as I am starting to feel the penetration of internet laser beam stares through my teflon armor from the Palladian/Cohen lovers. So I will be brief in reply to your last post.

Keep looking in your bag. Its probably hidden in the bottom, maybe under one of the flaps.

Dear Chris, I am checking those virgins before posting to Dertonarm.

So I am sorry but I also need to be brief. No idea about Bluewolf and

Folkfreak but, as far as I know, Thuchan and Syntax are his

favorites. However I will get those screws for free while they need to

pay (friend price) for them.
