Power cord replacement suggestions

If i were to delve into the fanatic behavior of replacing power cords, is there some concensus on where the most impact would be gained, whether on source, pre, or amp, or is it just different for every system and need to experiment. Thanks for any advice.

My experience is that power cord changes on the preamp and phono preamp had the most effect, however you experience may be different.

I would imagine that it would depend on the component and how much resolving power it has.

Amp and preamp are a good starting point.  Also remember that a single brand or model will not be ideal for all the components.
