Anyone know anything about any of this equipment? LINN, AYRE, TICE, ETC.

Hi. I was recently gifted my uncle's audio equipment which is a little advanced for me. It is all high end gear, with most of the original receipts and manuals. It is all in mint condition. I would like to figure out if there is any value, or if anyone would be interested in buying these items? I do not know a whole lot about this stuff but would like to figure out what I have. Anyone who could give me any info or has interest please write back. Also, I have a lot of pics of these things too. Here is a list of most of what I have. I also have the professional quality adjustable racks they were on, and all the professional quality cables and cords for the system. Thanks.

You have some nice equipment which defintiely has resale value.  Since you are considering working with a dealer you probably should educate yourself on value.  A look through Audiogon classifieds or eBay could help, but the Audiogon Bluebook would give more specific data based on actual sales.  Also, keep in mind if a dealer buys it will be at a wholesale price, not retail.  Retail is what you will find perusing Audiogon and eBay.  I haven't used the BlueBook in a while so I don't know if they list a wholesale value.  As for which dealer to talk to, check all the receipts you have and see if your uncle shopped at one store or many (lot bought used).  Talking with a store that sold the item(s) originally MAY be beneficial.  Good luck!

What's your priority?  Easy and done with it, or maximize the resale value.  Two completely different paths
You would not go wrong with any Ayre product- great sound and value for $ in high end gear. Linn nice but expensive.
