Tekton Double Impacts

Anybody out there heard these??

I have dedicated audio room 14.5x20.5x9 ft.  Currently have Marantz Reference CD/Intergrated paired to Magnepan 1.7's with REL T-7 subs.  For the vast majority of music I love this system.  The only nit pick is that it is lacking/limited in covering say below 35 hz or so.  For the first time actually buzzed the panel with an organ sacd. Bummer.  Thought of upgrading subs to rythmicks but then I will need to high pass the 1.7's.  Really don't want to deal with that approach.

Enter the Double Impacts.  Many interesting things here.  Would certainly have a different set of strengths here.  Dynamics, claimed bottom octave coverage in one package, suspect a good match to current electronics.

I've read all the threads here so we do not need to rehash that.  Just wondering if others out there have FIRST HAND experience with these or other Tekton speakers

Thanks.

I second mac's advice, Herbie's threaded gliders, easy to move/position speakers for best soundstage, one position for critical listening and another for everyday living.
I wish Tekton would be at Axpona later this month.  I'd love to hear a pair of the Double Impacts!
Hi diofan56 -

We would really like to help out, but our Tekton DI SE's are not ready yet.  So we will not have them at AXPONA.  Perhaps if you are in the Chicago-area you could come over to test them once they arrive (and after we have a chance to put some hours on them).

Will post again once they are here and ready!

Thanks!

Would like to thank Terry (aka teajay) for his review which pushed me to move forward with purchasing the Double Impacts with the internal upgrade.

The speakers arrived on Monday and I was able to set them up Tuesday evening.

I pulled the trigger based on Mr. London's words almost immediately after his review was posted...but this forum discussion and member owner impressions helped reassure me that it was likely to be a 'happy' one.

So, THANKS!  Thank you!!!
Hey david_ten,

Thanks for the kind words.

Would you please share with us some details about how your DI's are performing for you! I surely would like to know what you think.
