Tekton Double Impacts

Anybody out there heard these??

I have dedicated audio room 14.5x20.5x9 ft.  Currently have Marantz Reference CD/Intergrated paired to Magnepan 1.7's with REL T-7 subs.  For the vast majority of music I love this system.  The only nit pick is that it is lacking/limited in covering say below 35 hz or so.  For the first time actually buzzed the panel with an organ sacd. Bummer.  Thought of upgrading subs to rythmicks but then I will need to high pass the 1.7's.  Really don't want to deal with that approach.

Enter the Double Impacts.  Many interesting things here.  Would certainly have a different set of strengths here.  Dynamics, claimed bottom octave coverage in one package, suspect a good match to current electronics.

I've read all the threads here so we do not need to rehash that.  Just wondering if others out there have FIRST HAND experience with these or other Tekton speakers

Thanks.

If you want to succeed selling $3000 to $15000 products in a market like this, customer service had better be quite good. Tekton are dropping the ball....
@james_w514, I didn't get to try the ahb2 on the Tektons.  I actually purchased their monitors and thought they were competent, but not magical or anything special.  Very well made though.  Yeah the amplifier seemed a tad unemotional to me, but very good for solid-state. Definitely a move in the right direction.  I'm very biased though towards SET Tube Amplifiers.

Is anyone out there  using any McIntosh solid state amps with the Double Impacts ? if so what are your results, or opinions of the combo ?
I am curious how an MC402 would sound .I am using A McIntosh  MX151 pre and i have not ran the Lyngdorf Room correction (Room Perfect) yet.. Actually it is still on. It was from my prior speakers. I am waiting for the Ds to break in.
I think I am almost there
@paradisle  Congratulations on your DIs and the pairing with your new Nova300 integrated. Great to hear that you are really happy with your purchases.

Consider yourself very lucky if it's only a rabbit hole...Warning...mostly black holes out there in the Audio Way wilderness, all of which initially look like manageable ones made by cuddly bunny wabbits. : )
Hi Mac,
If you don’t mind would you email me your phone number and I will call you Thursday evening. Just a reminder the current Frankenstein MK II SET have 4 and 8 ohm speaker taps.  My version has 8 and 16 ohm speaker taps.  So I'm curious to hear the outcome.
