If you can get these for around $2k used I'd consider them a huge bargain for the sound quality you're getting.  Ushers are one of my faves and have sounded incredible at shows -- too bad they don't seem to get much attention here in the US.  There's also a pair of Joseph Audio RM25s for sale here now for about half that price that are similarly great speakers, but I don't think they'll provide as deep bass as the Ushers.  Best of luck.
