The items I listed are all on Audiogon. The B&K receiver has much more robust amplification than the typical receiver. You could skip the center channel. It's your choice. There are better subs too. It's just money and the sub size might factor in your space/decor. If you are set on the JBL speakers, a pre/pro would work as well as suggested by maplegrovemusic. Anthem D1 or AVW-50v are good choices. |
Well here’s what I have in mind: Speaker Package -- Definitive Technology Pro-Cinema 800 -- $1,200.00 -- https://www.definitivetechnology.com/products/procinema-800-system Audio/Video Receiver -- Yamaha RX-V681 (2016-17) $600.00 ($300)/Yamaha RX-V683 (2017-18) $650.00 ($400.00) https://www.accessories4less.com/make-a-store/item/yamrxv683bl/yamaha-rx-v683-7.2-ch-x-90-watts-netw...v681-7.2-ch-x-90-watts-netw... And you’ll get a full one year manufacturer’s warranty on either receiver. Unless you’re living in a Penthouse that is about the size of a small mansion, these combos have just about all of the latest processing and the muscle you’ll ever need. That's enough power for your Condo. AND you’ll come in at UNDER $2K. In fact, WELL UNDER THAT (sans TV, Blu-Ray DVD, and Streamer). Good Luck & Happy Shopping. --Charles--- |
