Whats playing on your system today?
Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.
I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....
Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....
Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Wishbone ash, also a favorite of mine. Just Testing- 1st "albumn" I ever purchased. I bought a used copy in Gulfport Mississippi on vacation many years ago. Cost me $2.00. What was cool about it? I already knew it was a great album because arcam88 played it for me many times while I was at his home. And they rock and they were one of the best early bands to have great dual guitars. "Living Proof" https://youtu.be/bDNGzX7rTxc Also I’m going through this new Satriani- again, What Happens Next. It’s excellent. It gets better and better the deeper you get into it. The title track is very engaging. "Cherry Blossoms" and "Smooth Soul", very nice...But check out Glenn Hughes on track 7- "Headrush". Along side of Joe, he lays down some mean bass licks around 50 seconds into the song, again around 2:20 and then at 3:00. N |
