Tekton Double Impacts

Anybody out there heard these??

I have dedicated audio room 14.5x20.5x9 ft.  Currently have Marantz Reference CD/Intergrated paired to Magnepan 1.7's with REL T-7 subs.  For the vast majority of music I love this system.  The only nit pick is that it is lacking/limited in covering say below 35 hz or so.  For the first time actually buzzed the panel with an organ sacd. Bummer.  Thought of upgrading subs to rythmicks but then I will need to high pass the 1.7's.  Really don't want to deal with that approach.

Enter the Double Impacts.  Many interesting things here.  Would certainly have a different set of strengths here.  Dynamics, claimed bottom octave coverage in one package, suspect a good match to current electronics.

I've read all the threads here so we do not need to rehash that.  Just wondering if others out there have FIRST HAND experience with these or other Tekton speakers

Thanks.

The room is 15' x 20' x 8', with speakers on the 15' wall. It's not a dedicated space, with lots of furnishings and a large counter breaking up the space, so placement latitude is minimal.

@audiosens I (believe) you are asking whether the ’Tekton Impact’ speakers image and soundstage and layer/separate musical information? If so, YES.

I doubt there would be a Tekton DI thread if they did not do this across different systems. I will note that all of this is system relative, i.e. the DIs will do justice to what is ahead, relative to the strengths and weaknesses of what’s ahead of them.

The visible text of the link in 343's post will work, but what is hidden "underneath" the visible text, which is what the browser is directed to when the link is clicked, has two extraneous characters at the end, namely ">

After clicking on the link, if those two characters are deleted from what appears in the address bar and "enter" is then hit, the intended image will appear.

Thanks for the fix on my link... good catch!

Excellent review on the Impact Monitors! You made a good point about their not inconsiderable size, though. I really can't see why I wouldn't just go with the Electrons instead, as the Monitors with stands would take up about the same space.

On a side note, has anyone tried any of the Tektons with Odyssey amps?
