Ethernet over power line adaptor

No Cat 5 or 6 wired upstairs in listening room in new house.  I had Cat 5 in previous.  How shall I best run Naim UnitiServe?  I’m told Netgear and others have a device.  Recommendations please for best product and application.  Thanks in advance.

Some devices require an hard wired connection
Tried a power-line Ethernet adapter.  Sounded only okay and had noises every so often.  Not good enough for serious consideration for me.
An Ethernet over power line adapter should do the job.  Please see these links to help you make a decision:

I use to have an Ethernet over line line adapter and it worked okay.  The signal was strong with no drop outs.

However, it was strongly suggested by my retailer and my friends that a hard wired connection was the best especially for my Aurender Music Server.  I switched to an Ethernet cable connection and agree the sound quality was better (for me).

I suggest you contact an electrician to determine if a CAT 6 cable could be run into your location.  I also hired an electrician and he worked miracles and the cost was reasonable.  Electricians are trained to run wires in very difficult spaces including 2 level homes.  Besides, they like the wiring challenge.   I needed to add an Luxul XGS-1008 switch box to complete the connection and everything is working fine.

Or, you could also experiment with an Ethernet over wire adapter and see how it works.   If not, you can always return them.
