We have threads specific for cdp and tt so why not streaming as it is a modern media.

Herbie Hancock - Empyrean Isles HH’s 4th album as leader (so I read). Striking how fresh and very contemporary this 1964 recording sounds. Quite the lineup too with Freddie Hubbard, Ron Carter & Tony Williams. The Egg (track 4) at 14 minutes is not your grand-daddy’s overplayed, classic jazz standard. HH - Takin’ Off Going back in time a couple of years to 1962 and HH’s debut album as group leader. |
