Tekton Double Impacts

Anybody out there heard these??

I have dedicated audio room 14.5x20.5x9 ft.  Currently have Marantz Reference CD/Intergrated paired to Magnepan 1.7's with REL T-7 subs.  For the vast majority of music I love this system.  The only nit pick is that it is lacking/limited in covering say below 35 hz or so.  For the first time actually buzzed the panel with an organ sacd. Bummer.  Thought of upgrading subs to rythmicks but then I will need to high pass the 1.7's.  Really don't want to deal with that approach.

Enter the Double Impacts.  Many interesting things here.  Would certainly have a different set of strengths here.  Dynamics, claimed bottom octave coverage in one package, suspect a good match to current electronics.

I've read all the threads here so we do not need to rehash that.  Just wondering if others out there have FIRST HAND experience with these or other Tekton speakers

Thanks.

Wow!  Finally got to the end of this thread. Started reading in October. Ordered the DI’s on New Year’s Eve and they arrived about one month later. Grills came another month later-no biggie as I think they sound much better without.

In the meantime I’ve upgraded to a parasound hint6 from a zamp. Huge improvement there. Also went from 14ga bare wire to audio quest type 8.
Mostly stream Qobuz and cds on a 20 yo Sony 5 disc changer.

I am in heaven with this system.
Wish I would have gotten into this game 20 years ago but I settled on a pair of Cerwin Vega 3ways ran with a pioneer avr. I always knew I was missing something and now I know.
i appreciate everyone’s knowledge and opinions on here. Thank you!

Not sure on what I should congratulate you on first--the new DI’s or reading the entire thread!
One of these days maybe I’ll read the whole thing--I’m sure it would bring many smiles. It has been a fun journey shared with a great group of individuals.
As you are finding out, the DI’s are very transparent and they readily reveal the gear you place upstream. My DI’s sounded good right out of a very cold box, and they just keep getting better as you tweak your system and room. So I encourage you to experiment with these variables and am sure your speakers will bring you years of enjoyment.
Glad this thread was helpful!
Room tweaks seem to be very intimidating to me. I have a decent size room but to the left of the left speaker is perpendicular to a hallway and parallel to an open stairwell. The wall running parallel along the right speaker has a large window and then a double glass door. Also a large window on the back wall. Figured I’d start with curtains but there really is a big void in the front to the left of the left speaker. I also feel a couple subs or 4 are in order and would love to hear some tubes with these speakers after all the rave reviews. I have never listened to a tube component so will probably get one with a generous return plan in case I can’t live with it. Mostly listen to rock/pop/dance however every type of music I’ve played on the DI’s sound special.
@robt22 if you are interested in tube gear I recommend Aric Audio. I don’t know what his return policy is but he hits a lot of price points and many have had good results mating his gear with tekton. I have his Mother Load pre and the Special Push Pull amp and am very happy.
robt22 check out GIK Acoustics website for help with your room. You can upload pics and dimentions of your room and they will help you figure it out.No obligation to buy anything and a generous return policy of you decide to try some treatments.
If you're interested in trying tubes consider trying a preamp first to get a taste of that tubey magic:)+1 for Aric Audio.Email Aric sometime and discuss your requirements. He's a super nice guy and never pressures you to purchase.
Something to try with your speakers is to toe  them in quite a bit so the direct sound is crossing about a foot in front of the sweet spot.Good luck and enjoy!
