I have Maestro "audiophile approved" power outlets, but got 59 cent Home Depot plastic covers which look fine.  I was just experimenting so I put BluTac balls between the cover and outlet (3)...and low and behold.....cleans up the mids and highs....go figure.

Any way to quell bad vibrations is a good thing. No need to break the bank in doing so. 👍

So with your system the mids and highs needed cleaning up?

I had a similar experience when I installed a ps audio outlet a few years ago.I wasn't expecting anything except a good firm grip on the plugs but the highs cleaned up noticeably.Sometimes you don't realize what your system is lacking until you stumble upon a great tweak and an aspect improves.🤔
