Tariffs and sky high audio prices.

With the Chinese tariffs taking hold on 100% of the imports and maybe even on Mexico forthcoming, the audio industry is going to see another big jump in their sky high prices. Anyone making purchases ASAP to get lower prices from existing inventory before post tariff products enter the marketplace?

If you’ve been paying attention to at least, this thread, Trump being a globalist has already been covered. Is short term memory a bug or a feature?

Trump has business interests in Ireland, Scotland, Panama, Canada, Turkey, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, India, Russia and quite possibly, a few more than publicly stated.

Even before he became president, he invested, against the public warnings of the State Dept., in Baku, Azerbaijan. He sent Ivanka to negotiate on his behalf, violating the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. Both should be serving time for that since the hotel is owned by international, money laundering gangsters known as the Corleones of the Caspian. At the time he was invested in the hotel, so were the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, a well known terrorist group on our radar. Russian mobsters were also laundering money through the hotel (maybe that’s why he went there in the first place).

All of this info is readily available from the State Department and all anyone needs to do is ask. That, and ignorance is no excuse. You are required to do you due diligence before investing overseas, out of country.

It was shortly after some good investigative reporting that led to Trump’s withdrawal from the business venture, otherwise, he’d still be dealing with another set of money lauderers, terrorists, gangsters and like, speaking out of both sides of his mouth.

All the best,
Nonoise

Okay. Well then we have different definitions of globalist. My understanding of globalist is one who is working towards the goal of one world government. You seem to think having private business interests internationally makes one a globalist.

In this case it would seem I get the better of the argument. https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/globalism
Would you consider revising your previous statement? And endeavor to be more accurate in your use of language going forward?

glob·al·ist/ˈɡlōbəlist/Learn to pronouncenoun
  1. 1.a person who advocates the interpretation or planning of economic and foreign policy in relation to events and developments throughout the world.
adjective
  1. 1.relating to or advocating the operation or planning of economic and foreign policy on a global basis.

Pretty hard to not be one as defined these days. Maybe Kim Jong Un. Some aspire to be globalists but only if they get to call all the shots which can never happen. Sound familiar?
