New McIntosh amp build quality

I've been doing some research on the new MC 275 Mark VI. I've only heard the amp for a few minutes. I thought the 275 sounded nice. On another thread, a person stated the new Macs are not built as well as the older ones and in fact said the build was "shoddy" compared to pervious years. Just curious how owners of newer Mac amps feel about the build quality vs the old ones. Maybe a Mark V is a better option. I'm not looking for alternative brands...I have that info that is a mile long. Specifically the build (and sound) of new 275's (or new Mac amps in general) vs older versions.

as you should know big money people own the company now . These guys love to cut corners.  Profit is it.   But the Green Lights inside everything  sure work fine,    let's get that right
I've found McIntosh build quality to be excellent and perhaps even better than their older products. They are a vertically integrated Company and make many of their components. However, their components are far more complex than in the past leveraging fiber optics, digital controls and and advanced logic circuits. I'm not sure these new models will age as well as their older and simpler products. This is also true of autos and almost everything else made today. The new advanced technology is great but once the chipsets are no longer available, service might not be possible.
The stuff they make in their own factory remains as solid as ever. I agree about the scary complexity of many new offerings though. And I think Mac is introducing too many new products lately. The so-called "lifestyle" pieces could well end up damaging the brand.

Build quality has always improved as the years went along. Anyone saying different is just repeating the same tired bullshit of "it was better in the past" which rarely has any merit, and definitely untrue with McIntosh. "Back in the day it was better" ... no, no it was not in most cases.

Never been a fan. Bought a couple of their Integrated's, tube, hybrid and SS. Just never worked for me. I tried.
