High value, giant killer speakers?

What speakers have you heard at any price did you find are fairly priced or a great deal and competed with offerings much more expensive (2x, 3x, 4x etc)?

They can be had from $500 to $2,000. Can easily play with $3,000 to $5,000 speakers. Don’t believe those that say there are no giant killers, there are plenty.
