If You Had To Choose Between A SME M2-9 and a Rega RB 1000

So the Rega has a few upgrades, such as a Mitchell counterweight, Cardas wiring, and a VTA adjuster, The SME is stock. 

Would you have a preference for one over the other? Cartridge to be used is a Denon DL-S1, and this is going to be a casual use/listening table for me.

I can't speak to the Rega but I have 2 M2-9's and like the arm very much.  Beautifully built, very precise feeling and easy, stable adjustments of VTA, VTF and azimuth.  I also very much like the convenience of the removable headshell both for ease if mounting cartridges and swapping cartridges.
