Wrensilva makes some nice looking classic but modern consoles. https://wrensilva.com/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIn_SWjIms5QIVlBx9Ch1gKgQ0EAAYASAAEgK0ZPD_BwE |
I have a early 1960’s Phillips console that my mom and dad kept in the living room. Sliding doors concealed the am/fm tuner and sliding turntable. All tube with 20watt speakers with tweed speaker grills. I have not upgraded the components yet. It still works! May not ever. It is such a great conversation piece. Fond memories of my dad putting Guy Lombardo, Dick Hyman, Enoch Light, 101 Strings or Frank Sinatra on after mass on Sunday. |
This is a link to some of the old advertising for console stereos. Did KLH make a console?....I know they made very good compact systems https://www.google.com/search?sxsrf=ACYBGNRywhcpS0uBjvZfnHpVrFTOOgSYdQ:1571687527810&q=console+stereo+advertising&tbm=isch&source=univ&sxsrf=ACYBGNRywhcpS0uBjvZfnHpVrFTOOgSYdQ:1571687527810&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiizqumkK7lAhVEhq0KHaSNCvYQsAR6BAgHEAE&biw=1152&bih=763 |
