b&w 802 n to what speaker

I have been using the b&w 802n for the past 7 years. I generally like the sound but would like a speaker with better bass and highs. I would like to spend around $14,000. My preferences in speaker characteristics, is clarity, dynamics, tonality. I like good imaging but as less concerned with this. I have heard the b&w 802 diamond and like it but are there better alternatives , especially in the used market. There are some used focal jm lab nova utopia be for sales here. Anyone knows how they would compare to b&w 802n? Thanks for any opinions in advance.

Have you by chance considered a used Wilson Watt Puppy 7/8 or the newer Wilson Sophia 3s ?
The N802s rock and will easily produce bass that will cause neighbors to complain. I am using my 802s with a Sunfire theater receiver.

Moving up to another speaker level, well I think you have many options, the Revels as suggested are a good suggestion. Perhaps something like the Magneplanars 3.6 or 20.1 would be interesting for you.

Is there anyone who could elaborate on the active crossover or replacement crossover for the B&Ws. I have 800s and would be interested in doing a crossover upgrade as well.

My cousin has 1 pair of N800 and 1 pair of 800d. On the 800d he is using the pass lab electronic crossover. He is using pass lab x1000 for the bass and x350.5 for mids and highs. He said he was using the cross over points and slopes b&w were using. For the N800 he is using the bryston electronic crossover. He said the pass lab was better but the bryston was still very good. I have not had time to go over to hear his speaker but he raves at how much better it is going active.
I agree 100% with Thesoundhouse.
I also like the 802N more than the Diamond. I like paperpulp woofer better than the rohacell. I like the aluminum tweeter better than the diamond.
I would also go for upgrading the crossover but the speakers are so heavy & awkward and I would not know who to take them to. I most certainly would not ship them to anybody just to have the crossover upgraded.
