Most annoying song, period.

The tone of take me to church makes me feel like im walking towards something that's gonna immediately end my life.  it is horrible.  and it makes me uncomfortable, like the soundtrack towards your final walk to the gas chamber or firing squad or any other brutal crap you can imagine.   eeeeeeeeeeeeeeekkkk 

GQ magazine wrote a long essay 5 years ago titled 'The Worst Song of all Time.' The loser?

We built this city on r&r by 'starship.' They interviewed everyone involved. All agreed they thought it was shat at the time. Literally everyone: players, engineers, the label, etc.

4. any song by PINK - they all sound the same - ghastly - can't even be bothered to name a song by the artist
5. candle in the wind (lady Diana version) Elton John
6. Heal the world - Michael Jackson 
7. brown girl in the ring - Boney M (reminds me of racism and taunts as a child of the late 70's and early 80's)
8. shout out to my ex - little mix - all that is wrong in pop music now
9. we are family - sister sledge - just a crap disco track that is played too much
10. somebody else guy - Jocelyn brown - the worst of acid jazz

OMG, I just found out the name of the song that for me was the most ear-tearing experience of 1990.

It is THE most soppy R&Bish ballad ever, with the most horrible mincing, mewling, wining, embarrassing vocal ever produced by a male vocalist.I remember constantly hearing it crooning out of speakers at grocery stores, drug marts, whatever, and it made me want to start ripping down shelves just to get the thing out of my ears.
