Thoughts on the Supratek Chardonnay

Been a long time, but in response to @playntheblues post, which he never followed up in response to specifics, check "Preamp deal of the century" discussion at Audiogon and read the blog on Supratek's site, especially the entry about wiring. For sonic and electronic reasons, Mick writes that he prefers spaghetti style wiring over what he calls NY street-style wiring. 

Supratek preamps are wonderful. It is common for Supratek owners to state that their preamp is the one component of their system that they do not plan to upgrade.

I wonder how the suprateks would compare to something like arc ref6 or prima luna evo 400 pre?
