Who else here is frugal?

I must admit that I am a bit constrained by my lack of fund....If not, I will not be so frugal....I hate to be frugal because it is not my choice....But against bad fortune good heart, I decide to create my audio system at low cost with homemade solutions...I succeed and I love my audio system now...But if I had all money I will do what I do with money, invest it in my passion for books and music and waste a good deal of it probably... What else? I dont like travels, nor money games, I dont enjoy paying women, and I dont like cars …. :)

Being frugal is NOT the same as being cheap.

It means getting the most for your dollar. @mahgister

It is very close to thrifty, and the Boy Scouts felt it was so important they made it part of the BS law.

Yes gaining the most for your money is being frugal.... I am in the obligation to be frugal indeed...

But I must say the truth and the truth is I am not virtuous, nor frugal, if I love something I am sometimes a fool....:)

The circumstances forced me to be virtuous, thrifty, or frugal....It is a luck for sure because I learned many things that I would have miss otherwise....Thanks to my lack of money for audio....My temperament is not so naturally wise.... :)


I am like many people here, if I was able to afford it, I will buy a one million dollar audio system....I am lucky to be relatively poor, I learned much, and I enjoy what I have now and does not suffer from the need to upgrade...It is a luck to enjoy my actual audio system because I would not be  able to upgrade anyway....But my passion is very hot, I will give all my money for more …. It is foolish.... But I like to say the truth....

Given a choice, we would all be unwise heathens. :)
