Odyssey Kismet Reference series.

To anyone who has listened extensively to the Odyssey Kismet Reference series of amps, etc - how does the sound fair in comparison to a regular Stratos or the like?

I've owned the Kitargo mono extremes for about three years and have had zero problems with the amps  I'm currently running a pair of Ruark CL30's and they sound great.  Prior to this purchase, I owed Arcam amps which left much to be desired. Over the past three years of dealing with Klaus he's been excellent.  His customer service is the best, and he returns my calls and e-mails promptly. We've spoken several times at the Capital Audio Fest at length.  Presently, I'm in the process of upgrading to the Kismet monos and looking forward to it.
I had issues with the products and finally moved on to Modwright to distance myself from them. I believe he is just too busy to do the quality control that is supposed to be done. Many people (obviously) have had good experiences with him.
Yes, Klaus does ask you to measure your voltage and sets the amps to your voltage, but he also sets current bias to your speakers. The range for that is 18-28 millivolts. I owned them for 3 years and glad they’re gone.
I am running a pair of Moabs with a Kismet in Khartago case. I really like it, but as mentioned above, it is bright. Makes me wish I had not gone with the Be tweeter upgrade.

I have developed a fairly significant sensitivity to sibilance :( and the brightness doesn't help...
Still debating if I am going to try to go a different direction.
I have a very upgraded, but not Kismet Khartago amp and unless I can afford Pass this thing stays. I f’ing love it.

after 3.5 years something went bad. We trouble shot something’s over the phone. Sent back to him and he basically rebuilt the amp. It’s back and doing it’s thing. I love it.
