It happened again tonight

Just gave it a spin. Love it. Bought it when it was released. The Berlin Wall Waters DVD is worth checking out. And we're still fighting fascism, nationalism, and foolhardy stupidity.
 

Congrats millercarbon,  moments like those are transcendent.  I had the same feeling watching Duane Allman in 1971,  I still get tears in my eyes listening to him now as I revisit his genius.

I appreciate @millercarbon opening up about a very transcendental experience. We have all had those moments listening. I get that feeling listening to Camel's Lunar Sea every time. I don't know why but the rhythm just takes me someplace else. Just takes me away. However, I don't think anyone has put out a run like Pink Floyd did. DSOTM to Wish You Were Here to Animals to The Wall to The Final Cut (probably the most under appreciated LP in the group).  Pink Floyd was Steeley Dan before Steeley Dan was Steeley Dan. The musical production was just stellar.  This doesn't even include some of their most artistic works like Echoes, Atom Heart Mother Suite, and The Journey. Anyways, I keep listening, experiencing some of those same emotions that I felt when I was younger but did not understand. I now get it and is so much more appreciated 

the prisoner who now stands before you was caught red handed showing feelings. Showing feelings of an almost human nature. This will not do!

And when they've given you their all some stagger and fall after all its not easy, banging your heart against some mad bugger's wall.

Saw the Wall in a large format theater in San Francisco when it was new. Great sound system, Wild video.  Ah...the days...
