Mundorf (non-oil) Silver / Gold EVO MCap Supreme coupling caps in your tube amp ???

Anyone have good luck with these caps in your tube amp?

>> Mundorf (non-oil) MCap Supreme EVO Silver/Gold coupling capacitors << .22uf / 1000VDC

Previously tried Clarity MR caps and Jensen Copper Oil caps in my prior (same brand) tube amp with decent success. The Jensen oils were nice and a bit more syrupy sounding than my former Clarity caps, were too harsh for me. Looking for something in between. Normally I almost always prefer oil caps; maybe not this time. We will see. For my newer tube amp, a few folks who modify/upgrade Cary tube amps recommended installing these Mundorf (non-oil) Silver Gold Supreme EVO caps - reportedly for a bit more "open and extended air, ,with more bass, and still retaining a nice lush sound" as compared to my former Jensen oil caps. I did listen to my exact same tube amp with similar tube compliment with high-end V-Caps and it was a bit too lean for my taste. I’m hoping these new EVO caps sit somewhere in between and still retain a nice smooth sound.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

3-years later, update #2. Second try at using these exact same Mundorf Supreme EVO Silver Gold caps in different amps. Great results, again. Yes, they are more expensive, and proving to be worth it in my systems.

Type/Part#:
Mundorf Capacitor 0.22uF 1000Vdc MCap® Supreme EVO SilverGold Black SESGUSD, SKU#: MUNDORF-80510
Note: these are not the oil cap.

Update:
Recently removed well known mainstream poly coupling caps and installed another two pairs of of these in a different pair of Mono Tube amps. Same amazing results as my former tube amps. Just proved it was not luck or a fluke last time around. These caps are truly very nice. Comparing to other Clarity, Jensen, Cardas, Multi-Cap, Orange Drop caps previously used. Kinda like VCap sound but with more texture, nicer tone, added musicality.

RESULTS:
-sounds natural. Piano, Guitar, Voices simply sound more authentic.
-added depth and transparency without any edge or grain at all (nice!)
-guitars strings definitely glisten and there is some added delicacy...
-lower level micro detail comes through yet not overly detailed.
-smooth on top, great midrange, nice tone, beautiful texture is there!
-added layering, intriguing 3rd order harmonics coming through.
-great separation for each instrument, no blurring, separation is neat.
-added decay and air around various notes and instruments.
-added clarity with low volume listening.

Your Results May Vary. Like getting an amp and speaker upgrade in my case. You’ll see these exact caps being used in ultra-high end amps too.

Unexplained:
These (3 years newer version) started forming and sounding good only after 5-8 hours burn in time this go around.  Not sure why, last time it seemed like to took a long time for caps to settle in 30-45 days, and more changes again after 60 days.  Not changing as much this time early on. Will see.  Will report back if the burn-in changes again over next month.

Issue:
-Waited too long to try them again in my new amps.
-Expensive, but proving to be worth it vs. other upgrades.
-Only way to know is to try them yourself. Not much on internet.

...hope this helps someone. Back to listening.

At 4hrs vs 30hrs was a notable change and then steady improvements continued through 100-150 hours. Up to 200hrs, noticed a nice slow steady change with the Mundorf EVO Supreme SESG Silver Gold coupling caps.

Same musical results in my current mono amps as my prior stereo tube amplifiers. Definitely worth the burn-in and settling roller coaster ride to realize the results.

The Mundorf EVO Supreme SESG Silver Gold coupling caps sound absolutely beautiful now. As good in my Quicksilver Mono amps as they were in my former Cary amps. Worth every penny for my system.

A few other amp owners have messaged and tried them too now reporting similar results. They just keep getting better with time.

The long burn-in and settling time is absolutely worth it. Very musical.
Another M fan here, Now that i upgraded my IC cable (see my latest topic in cables forum), the Mundorf Supremes in the Defy 7 have really come through,,,I was concerned as i modded the Cayin cd player with M caps, the preamp with M caps and then the defy with all kinds of top quuality caps,,yet something was blocking the gains,,i figured it was the preamp,,then I got the new IC cable and , ,all the Mundorf caps now beagan singing w2ith gogeous openness, spacious,  realism,
No  dount the Mundorf black supreme or the smaller brothers the white caps (for space constrainst and/or budget constraints) both will add textures and openess to your system.
Highly recommended.
havea  used Jadis DPL arriving tomorrow, which will be recaped with M caps, plenty of space,,but will have to go white caps for budget constraints, The Supremes would cost a  fortune..and I am not so sure the Supremes are worth the extra 2X's cost vs the white body caps.
Could you tell which is which in a  blind test?
