sorry for your loss Jim.  From your posts about him we know how very much he meant to you.

Listened to that promotional album I had by Cheryl Dilcher.  She would likely have had a better career playing more up-tempo music -- voice is OK but can't carry singing ballads.

So sorry to hear of your loss, a lot here have been in the same boat I feel.
The wife lost her mother to lung cancer a few years back although to be fair she was likely the poster child for the surgeon generals warnings on smoking kills at 40 a day for 40+ years.
Still it was a blessing for her when she did finally pass, obviously not so much for the ones she left behind.
