New old or old new?

Hello, In terms of sound and resale which system would you choose 1 to 5  year old electronics and 35 to 45 year old speakers or vise versa?   Resale could be each component of the system or system as a whole. Assuming everything is very good quality and condition.

Thanks
rhodes
No 35-45 year old components or speakers unless totally redone by someone who knows what they are doing please in which case they are essentially like  new.

Been able to think of little else all day now until suddenly it came to me:

In terms of sound I choose the one that sounds the best.

In terms of resale I choose the one I can flip for the most profit.

What did I win?

What do you need?
So far looks like move the  2 pair of the 4350's and go newer.
Any suggestions?
I like Rogers LS35as, DQ10s, Klipsch La Scallas
Dynaco ST-35s/70s
Had em. Wish I still did.
Optimize sound AND resale?
WTF?
If it sounds good don't sell it.
OR regret it.
If you want to get most of your money back, don't buy in the first place.
Then you'll have 100% of it.
If you don't spend it, all you got is a pot of gold.
You would feel better philanthropizing.
