re your idea of masking tape on fuses.... I considered this, but was concerned about long term drying of the adhesive. I used Teflon plumbers tape, tightly wrapped around the glass. Nice uptick in performance.

Some cool things you can do with fuses. This is very hush hush 🤫 so use at your own discretion. Color the Contact portion of the end caps purple/violet with Sharpie marker. Place fuse(s) in home freezer for 48 hours. Remove and let slow thaw in refrigerator for two hours, reinsert fuse. Try each fuse both ways obviously, one fuse at a time, even if stock fuse.
