This whole thread is reminding me of the current political climate in the US. Half the population seems to have zero interest in expert opinions (engineers), facts, or science, and only want to hear what they already believe echo’d back at them. 

Network wise, I’d put my TP-Link Archer AC750 flashed with DD-WRT up against anybodies $5k router with complete confidence in the outcome.

Dude, you are wrapped way too tight, sounding like a fanatical crusader out to save audiophiles from themselves, using insults and ascribing to me motives that simply aren't there. Take you meds and calm down.

Are you just another ASR groupie with a chip on his shoulder? Sounds like I caught you with your pants down, looking foolish for not correctly understanding my intentions so you're off on a tangent with the insults and what you've learned as what, an installer?  

If you truly don't believe that noise can't have an effect, are you satisfied with your HDTV streaming over cables, connectors, routers, etc? Is all that gear up to snuff? I've yet to see any video transmission that isn't flawed in one way or another. If that's good enough for you, that tells me all I need to know about your standards and tastes. And again, take your meds and calm down. Also, your attempts at prose kinda sucks.

When it comes to global warming and this criminally avoidable pandemic, I'm the guy you want in your corner. To conflate the two for purposes of scoring points would not serve your interests well.
