ARC LS 26 and Nagra

Hi,

  I'm using a dCS Bartok directly to my Nagra MPA amp (Wilson Sabrina speakers).
Just to try things out, and get a more tubey sound,I just purchased a, ARC LS26.
  Can anyone tell me if the amp specs will match well with the LS26?
All connections balanced.

I can't tell you about how well the amp specs match up, but I can tell you that you're not going to get a "tubey" sound from the LS26.  It's very neutral and closer to a solid state sound than a "tubey" sound.

Thx for your input.
If I can't hear a difference, I'll go back to a no-preamp set up.

If you want something more "tubey" sounding, check out Primaluna.

Need XLR however.

Looks like the EVO 400 has XLR, but quite a bit more than what you must have paid for the LS26.  You'll probably get some other suggestions.
