Another shout out for great service

Just plugged in my rebuilt PS Audio Power Plant Premier which took its last breath 2 weeks ago.

My ears got used to hearing my system without "clean power" and it was acceptable.

With the PP in the system it takes it up a notch in overall punch and that's without the eye squinting, leaning forward and fingers crossed.I should get another 100K miles out of it. The PPP has brand new regenerator, fan and the transformer has a new mounting mod. Essentially a new magic box for $750. All that AND a 1 year warranty.

Thumbs up for PS Audio service and turnaround.

I had  2 component breakdowns happen within a week of each other. All is well in audiophool land once again.

2 weeks?

PS Audio must have a great service/repair operation.

I blew mine up a few years ago. Sent it back and it came back and has worked perfectly ever since. It was $500 then. Inflation.

"2 weeks?
Wow, that was a fast repair."

I see I goofed my original post. That should be 3 weeks. 3 weeks and 3 days leaving my door and returning, to be exact. Still very reasonable. Most important, PS Audio did turn it around and Fed Ex had it on my doorstep by the earlier promised time on the notification.

Excellent service all the way around.

"It was $500 then. Inflation."

Yeah, I did some archive reading,$500 was the price.I even read on the PS Audio forums that PPP's were NOT being rebuilt!  NEVER rely on forums-even the company forum. Call the company to confirm anything.

Considering the heart of the unit was replaced, along with a  warranty, I'll still call it a fair deal, for audio stuff.

I can't imagine how a newer version is even better? That's what user reviews write. The PPP  is  probably the least liked of the PP's.  Also it was made offshore, so the anti China guys give it a thumbs down.
Haha!
Even at 3 weeks+, that is pretty good service, considering all the vagaries of shipping, and the intricacies of repair.
Kudos to PS Audio.

I dropped my PPP in the trash not long ago. When it failed, I kept it for a few months to hear a difference. I never notice a big change. To be fair, over the years I used the PPP, I had added a few 20 amp dedicated outlets. The truth be told, I’ve never missed it.
