Didn’t last long. She went back to her safe space.  But at least I learned something about the music business.

Qobuz Hi-Res

I just started streaming last month and primarily use Qobuz and Tidal. Spotify brings up enough music I'm unable to find on these so I'm keeping it for the time being but I prefer the SQ of Qobuz & Tidal. My Node 2i is connected to the dac of my Cary 306. Best sound I've heard from my setup to date.
Listening to a lot of Chet Baker and Art Pepper. AP's Nature Boy a real highlight.

As you have found out the SQ of Qobuz is vastly superior to Spotify but Spotify does have larger catalogue so your pays yer money and takes yer choices.
Using an external DAC especially the Cary is a great move with the Node, should sound stellar.
