Miracles in Audio, by luck, by good choices,by design or by tweaking...

I owned a low cost headphone for many years, the Fostex TH7B, first version( a new one close version exist Fostex TH7BK), semi-open headphone...I was never completely satisfied by any headphones I ever owned: Hifiman 400, Stax basic lamda, Stax 5 gold,Akg 340,Akg 701, beyerdynamic 990, and T150... Because in each of them with all their qualities I never listen to at the same times, a confortable headphone with natural timbre and voicing, with a good imaging and a realistic soundstage(not too close to my ears)...


For the last days I tweaked this Fostex, to damp his internal resonance I used sorbothane, I put some shungite stones at the exterior part of the cups and I use some Herkimer diamond in the interior pads( 3 at 120 degree) … Now this low cost headphones crush all my others if I sum all his qualities... For example his mids and voicing cannot beat the AKG 340 but among all my other headphones it is the best that is near that mids and it is more confortable, and with longer cable than the 340...His imaging is better and more realistic than the 340 etc etc...It is the same if I compare with the others...


His most important qualities is natural timbre and clear imaging,very precise pinned point accuracy and natural, so clear it crush for that ALL the others to dust...In the French audio circle the reviews were more than very positive few years ago...Diapason d’or and choc Classica...I am not the only one impressed buy the ratio quality/price... But remember that thesae reviewers dont tweak their headphone...The difference between before and after the tweaks are staggering...


Yes Miracles happens in Audio: cost is under 100 American dollars... Few years ago they cost me 50 bucks new... I never dreamed that I will go back to headphones...

Next experiments coming soon:

Springs for my speakers, keeping my sandwiches in place under the speakers, i will put the springs directly on the sandwiches and under the speakers, then i will be able to take off the 70 pounds of concrete that was damping the speakers... I think the springs will made them no more useful.... Springs will controls the resonance better....

And last but not least, 12 new "golden plates" for the electrical grid....

My ultimate Cable connections of all my grids

This connection between all these grids in fact confirm the separation of the music from the speakers... It is true in nearfield or at distant position...

This is marvellous and the cost of this is:  Peanuts....

Hi-Fi cost  way more less than i was thinking 7 years ago.... It is no more at least  over 10,000 dollars, the final cost is PEANUTS...

Dont buy if not necessary and  Think before buying.....

UPDATE:
My ultimate Cable connections of all my grids

This morning i just connected the most costly and refine Schumann Generator i own among the ten already connected ,one with another around the room; i connected this more powerful one which is over my computer screen, between my speakers, to the "Bell of bells" dangling from my ceiling... This is the third connection from the "Bell of bells" with a third Schumann generator in the grid that link all of them...

Staggering increase all across imaging, and the other factors of sound quality...

My dear friends, the only way to modify the properties of a bad room, is not mainly the passive acoustical treatment, but really and mostly the active acoustical controls by way of active connected device like an array of Schumann generators...

The audible effect is at the end a COMPLETE deconnection of the sound from the location of the speakers themselves and from the negative limitations of the room...

Astounding and what is the cost: PEANUTS...

Be creative and dont read those who want to sell you something....

Before buying something, embed everything rightfully....

NOTE:

All my 10 Schuman generators are modified with cables that connect them all and with crystals and "golden plate"... They are cheap cost, 10 bucks from Hong-Kong, except one at 50 bucks.... It is not a good idea to buy only one at very high cost.... Because an array of 10 cheap one around the room and connected is more flexible device and more powerful than only very pricier one....Their power supplies or USB connectors are also treated with "golden plates" or crystals to lower the noise floor...

UPDATE:

When i connected the thin phone cable between the "Bell of bells" and the Schumann generator it gives better results sometimes if the cable touch directly the S.G. instead of a stone or an herkimer diamond on the S.G....On some my cable touch the stone....

You must experiment not only with materials but with your ears...

Sometimes the audible changes are subtle , but when you love it very much, you speak with adjectives like awsome, marvellous, etc
The essential is that with this one hundred subtle changes i lived through i own now a top audio system, not the best there is by all counts no, but people would think that for the money(500 bucks for the 3 main component) my system is one of the best there is... And i think so....

It is the reason WHY i am the only voice on all audio forums i ever read to say that audiophile experience MAY cost peanuts, if you dare to try being creative with your listenings experience.... If i could, anyone can....

I give to you all the concepts: the three embeddings...(mechanical,electrical active and passive acoustical controls)
Any electronic component is "generically" created design,but to gives his utmost , it must be "specifically" embed....


I give to you some ideas in my thread to replicate with your own improvisation on the basis of your own audio systen, your own house and room and ears...And with more money invested if you want and better results than mine....

I give to you the confidence that it is possible because i made it...

I am proud of myself....

I use self adhesive copper tape on the shungite.... The copper tape is always at the external side of the shungite, namely the shungite face always touch any location where i put it all along the electrical grid....

For pyramid, but it is not practical and i dont use them much, i cover with copper tape all faces of the pyramid except the base; then it is the basis of the pyramid that is in contact to the gear or objets where i put it....
